Turnverein Events, Dances and More
The Turnverein Dance and Cultural Center is recognized as a gracious landmark and is a favorite location for member-attended events. There is dancing six or seven nights a week. (Saturday events vary.) Details can be found on the calendar.
As a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization, the facility is available for member functions, such as wedding receptions, fundraisers, workshops, and other activites. Rates vary depending on the day of the week, the number of hours needed, the number of guests attending your event, and whether a full or partial use of the building is requested.
Upstairs, the ballroom features a 4,000 sq. ft. hardwood floor, 15’ ceilings, and Palladian-style French doors. Recent renovations include acoustic treatment, air conditioning, and elegant draperies. A stage is located along one wall, useful for bands or a DJ set-up. The ballroom seats 250 guests comfortably.
The lower level houses the Rathskeller. This charming hall has seating for 120 guests, offers a 500 sq. ft. dance floor and a full bar. The Rathskeller is a unique and comfortable site for smaller, more casual events.
You can choose your own caterer or you may self-cater your event. The kitchen facilities are for prepping and warming only, not cooking. All liquor must be purchased through the Turnverein. The option of a cash or hosted bar is available.
Please call 303-831-9717 to learn more about becoming a member, or using the facility, or more information. The manager is Paul "Max" Maxey, PaulMaxey@denverturnverein.org
